A Structured Path to Islamic Knowledge
The Diploma of Islamic Studies is a comprehensive one-year program covering the core sciences of the Shariah, taught by qualified mashayekh in an academic format.
1 Year · 4 Terms
Four 10-week terms across the year. Classes held Sundays at 9:00am and Wednesdays at 6:30pm.
Online & On-Campus
Live classes for online students with recorded lessons available, plus on-campus learning at our Melbourne institute.
Certified Completion
Receive a Diploma of Islamic Studies upon meeting all assessment, attendance, and term-completion requirements.
Interactive Learning

The Six Core Subjects
The essential sciences of Islam, taught systematically from foundational classical texts.
Fiqh
Islamic jurisprudence covering acts of worship and daily-life rulings.
Aqeedah
Islamic creed and theology: the foundational beliefs of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama'ah explained in depth.
Hadith
Study of the sayings and actions of the Prophet ﷺ from selected classical collections with explanation.
Mustalah al-Hadith
The science of Hadith terminology and methodology used to evaluate and authenticate prophetic narrations.
Uloom al-Qur'an
The sciences of the Qur'an: revelation, compilation, recitation, and interpretation.
Seerah an-Nabawiyyah
The biography of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ: his life, character, and the events of his blessed mission.
